For the week ending June 13, we have a crude draw of 6.21 million bbls. This is a much larger draw compared to the -2.633 million bbls for the 5-year average.
With refinery throughput at ~17 million b/d and an early start to the crude draw season, the current trajectory is unsustainable. US commercial crude storage will get so tight as to shut-in US crude exports or US refinery throughput will fall.
