What Can "They" Do To Push Oil Prices Lower In The Near-Term?

Crude, gasoline, and diesel are all starting to squeeze into the “wall” territory. The market, rightly so, is starting to price in prolonged supply disruption as the geopolitical backdrop escalates.

But as we have seen time and time again throughout this conflict, “they,” or the Trump administration, is a real adversary to higher oil prices. From jawboning with fake news about an imminent peace deal to releasing the largest SPR in history, they will try yet again to suppress oil prices.

Why? Polymarket now has a potential Democratic sweep at 50%.

A Republican sweep is now 13%, and a Democratic victory in the House is at 87%.

Time is ticking against Trump.

So how will they do that this time around?
